Missouri Beet Armyworm Monitoring

Beet Armyworm, S. exigua (Hübner), is capable of overwintering (pupal stage) in Missouri, and the moths emerge in May. There can be two generations during each growing season. Intensive captures are indicated when at least 8 to 12 moths are captured over one night in Texas Cone Traps.
