Notes from the Clinic

The Extension Plant Diagnostic Clinic will be closed during August 5-16, 2002, due to staff vacation and field work. Please do not send samples during this period as there will be no one in the clinic to receive them. We will receive samples again starting on August 20. Answers to some of the more common tree and shrub problems may be found at our website http://agebb.missouri.edu/pdc/

Also, as of July 22, 2002, we are charging $15.00 for tests for Dutch elm disease and Oak wilt. Please make the check payable to the University of Missouri. Review the proper sample collection and handling to ensure that the best possible sample is collected at PDC, Sample Submission - University of Missouri-Columbia http://agebb.missouri.edu/pdc/submission.htm. The budgetary constraints have made it necessary for us to start charging for our services. We will be developing a fee structure for other services in the next several months. Those fees will not go into place until January 1, 2003.
