Plan now to attend the
2007 Bradford Farm Tomato Festival
September 6, 2007
Taste many different varieties of tomatoes including everything from common
types typically found at the local nurseries to heirlooms, which are often
100 years old or older. Many of these heirlooms have interesting stories
about how they got their name such as Mortgage Lifter and Missouri Pink
Love Apple.
However, we didn't stop with just tomatoes. What else goes good with
tomatoes and their products? Peppers and salsa of course! In 2006, we
planted 32 different pepper varieties that included a wide variety of
hotness, colors and shapes.
This year promises to be bigger and spicier than ever! Don't miss out on
the fun!
