Update on Soybean Insecticide Seed Treatments Available for 2005

A commercial applied insecticide seed treatment will be available to soybean producers this year. Syngenta will be marketing Cruiser insecticide together with a fungicide for early season insect and disease protection of seedling soybean. Bayer is in the process of obtaining a label for Gaucho insecticide as a commercially applied soybean seed treatment, but a label is not expected until late 2005 or early 2006.
